From homebred foal to FEI hopeful. Pirate Tesoro, by the beloved Pikko del Cerro HU, steps toward the international arena this season.

I am excited to share that my homebred, Pirate Tesoro (Pikko del Cerro x Sandro Hit x Jazz), is preparing to debut in the FEI arena this coming season. Many of you will remember his sire, Pikko del Cerro HU, my wonderful Grand Prix partner. I am so grateful for this chapter.
We will spend the summer training carefully and methodically, balancing the Florida heat with realistic expectations for each ride. Progress at this level is never rushed. It is built session by session, with patience and focused, correct practice as our guiding principles. Every transition, every half halt, every quiet moment of understanding between us is a step toward the winter season and his first FEI tests.
I have learned over the years that horses tell us when they are ready. My job is to listen, prepare him thoughtfully, and trust the process. Stay tuned for this journey.
